Brief History of the English Department
The importance of English, both as an International language and as a link language, is now widely accepted. Our college established in June 1996 with the 12 Departments. English is one of the departments of our College. English is a compulsory subject to B.A., B.Com, and B.Sc, F.Y. & S.Y. students. It is also one of the optional subjects to the B.A. Students.
It is also known that the students belonging to the rural areas have a problem in learning and Speaking English Department helps them to improve in it.

Mr. Ladda Kamalkishor Kalyandas is working as Head of the Department. He has been 18 years teaching experience. He has completed M.A. and M.Phil.
He is preparing for Research Work “Image of Male in the Novels of Shashi Deshpande and Shobha De: Comparative Study” under the guidance of Dr.S.S.Kanade in Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad (MS).

Our department arranged the tour of Language Marathi, Hindi and English. Our department lecturer individually visits to various colleges. i.e. one visit to the Department of English in EFLU Hyderabad and one famous college Rajeshri Shahu Mahavidyalaya Latur.
Our department arranged a guest lecturer time to time every year. We were inviting the lecturers of a department of English from nearby various Colleges. i.e.1 Majalgaon Mahavidyalaya Majalgaon 2.Swat. Sawarkar Mahavidyalaya Beed 3.Kholeshwar Mahavidyalaya Ambajogai. etc.
Department published wallpaper every year. It gives an opportunity to the students to develop their hidden characteristics about writing skill. Last three years college published four wallpapers on 15 August, 17 September, 25 December and 26 January.
Department arranges book exhibition for the new students. The books of literature from our college central library we took in an exhibition. Students know how many books of literature in the college library.
Department arranges seminars for the students in a classroom every Friday. In a seminar, students discuss the various topics like environment, social, economic, and political awareness in the students and discuss on it this seminar topic sometimes turned for group discussion.
Above all departmental activities help to the student to take interest in reading, writing, listening and communicative English.
